The 2005 Black and White Ball honored Gavin S. Herbert, Founder of Allergan, Inc. and Chairman Emeritus. Actor and entertainer, Tom Sullivan, received the 2005 Kitty Carlisle Hart Award of Merit For Lifetime Achievement.
This year's dinner chair was Julian Gangolli, President, North America of Allergan, Inc.

The event was held on Wednesday, December 7th, at The Pierre Hotel in New York City.
